SUPREME COURT JUDGE TAKES PART IN “THOMALA” SEVA AT VIZAG

Vizag, 26 July 2014: The Honourable Supreme court Judge Justice NV Ramana took part in the “Thomala” seva performed in the replica temple of Lord Venkateswara as a part of the ongoing week long Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams at Vizag on Saturday. He was received by Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar on his arrival to Swarna Bharathi Auditorium.

After rendering early morning Suprabhata seva, the Thomala Seva was performed with religious fervor. Thomala means“Garland of flowers”. After awakening the Lord from His celestial sleep in Suprabhata Seva, the presiding deity will be colourfully decked with various floral garlands and this seva is called Thomala Seva.

The garlands made out of exquisite flowers and Thulasi leaves in different sizes finely adorned the Lord giving a divine glimpse to the thousands of devotees who gathered in the auditorium.
