GRAND SWARNA RATHOTSAVAM OF VAIKUNTHA EKADASI

Tirumala, 8 January 2017: As a feast to devotees Swarna Rathotsavam was conducted on the mada streets in the morning hours of 9AM to 11am attracting large crowds of devotees.

In view of the celestial events all the arjita sevas in the Srivari Temple were suspended for in the Srivari Temple on both days of January 8 and 9.

On January 9th, the Vaikunta Dwadasi day, the Chakrasnanam of Sudarshan Chakrathalwar will be conducted from 4.30am to 5.30am. Legends say that all the devotees bathe in the Swami Pushkarini on the holy muhurtam will beget the blessings of holy dip in 66 holy springs in the Seshachala hill range.
