TECHNOLOGY BASED TRAINING IN SUBHAPRADHAM FROM NEXT YEAR-TIRUPATI JEO

HINDUISM IS NOT A RELIGION BUT A RIGHTEOUS WAY OF LIFE

Tirupati, 9 June 2017: The temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is contemplating to introduce technology based training to students taking part in Subhapradham from next year, said, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar.

Addressing the students during the valedictory session in SPWDPG college in Tirupati on Friday, the JEO said, Subhapradham is aimed at transforming children to become the best citizens of tomorrow by training them in ethical and moral values embedded in Hindu Sanatana Dharma. “For other religions there are founders but for Hinduism, it is not a religion but is a life style as it teaches the righteous way of leading life”, he added.

Adding further he said, this year over 23thousand students belonging to both Telugu States took part in the training classes. “From the past five years around 60 thousand pupils underwent training in Sanatana Dharma. But for a wider reach we are planning to include technology also. We are contemplating to digitize the study material and make it available on our website for free download next year. Similarly we are planning to introduce “Mobile Theatre” to showcase short films on the mythological characters as the visual media can reach more number of children on a faster pace “, he opinioned.

Later he distributed certificates to the girl students who took part in this programme.

HDPP Secretary Sri Ramakrishna Reddy, College Principal Smt Narayanamma and others were also present.
