THREE DAY ANNUAL VASANTHOTSAVAM BEGINS IN SRINIVASA MANGAPURAM

Srinivasa Mangapuram, 9 May 2015: The three-day annual ‘Vasanthotsavam’ began in the Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram near Tirupati on Saturday afternoon. The event is meant to be a diversion to the celestial beings from the scorching sun in the peak summer month.

The priests gave a celestial bath to the deities of the Lord and His consorts at Kalyanotsava Mandapam inside the temple complex. The deities were later taken out on a procession on the four mada streets around the temple.

TTD JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar, DyEO Sri Venkataiah, AEO Sri Dhanajeyulu, Suptd Sri Dinakar Raju, Temple Staff and large number of devotees took part.
