TIRUCHANOOR ALL SET FOR KARTHEEKA BRAHMOTSAVAMS _ పూర్తికావస్తున్న అమ్మవారి బ్రహ్మోత్సవ ఏర్పాట్లు

TIRUPATI, NOVEMBER 29:  The temple town of Tiruchanoor is decked up to celebrate the annual mega-religious fete of Kartheeka Brahmotsavams of
Goddess Sri Padmavathi which is all set to commence from December 2.
 

The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) has
made elaborate arrangements for the annual festival. The pilgrim town
donned a festive look with colourful rangolis giving a splendid look all along the mada streets. The Tholappa Gardens have been decorated with various varieties of flowers and pandals have been erected to give a celestial look. A stage has been set ready to distribute prasadams to thousands of visiting pilgrims on this occasion.
 

The celestial fete will commence with Laksha kumkumarchana on the morning of December 1 and the Ankurarpanam ritual will be performed on
the same day evening. The nine-day festival which will commence on Thursday morning between 9:40am to 10:00am in Makara Lagnam with the
hoisting of “Gaja Patham” (celestial flag with the image of elephant) on the temple pillar marking the successful beginning of the mega event. The other important days include, Gaja Vahanam, procession of the processional deity of Goddess Padmavathi on Her favourite divine elephant vehicle on December 6 evening the fifth day of Brahmotsavams, followed by Swarna Ratham on December 7 evening at 4:35pm, Rathotsavam at 7:15am on December 9 and the festival concludes with the famous Panchami Teertham on December 10 at 12noon. On December 11, Pushpayagam will be performed to Goddess Padmavathi.

 TTD has organised special cultural programmes for the occasion. The
HDPP, Annamacharya Project, SV Music and Dance college artistes will perform traditional and spiritual cultural arts in Aasthana Mandapam to entertain and enthrall the visiting pilgrims.
 

Apart from this TTD has also set up first aid centres and health centres for the sake of the pilgrims near Tholappa Gardens. The doctors from BIRRD, SVIMS, SV Ayurvedic hospital and TTD central hospital will render medical services to the needy. The TTD health department has taken all measures to keep the temple premises clean and hygenic.
