TIRUMALA JEO INAUGURATES PULSE POLIO DROPS ADMINISTRATION IN TIRUMALA

TIRUMALA, JAN 18: Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju inaugurated the 20th Pulse Polio Drops Administration programme to the infants in front of Srivari Temple in Tirumala on Sunday.

Speaking on this occasion he said, TTD has set up 25 centres in Tirumala to administer polio drops to the infants who are aged between 0-5years of age. “Out of these 25 centres, 17 are meant for the visiting pilgrims while the remaining for locals. This programme will be from 7am to 6pm today and all the pilgrims and locals with infants below five years of age should make use of this programme without fail. If any body fails to administer polio drops to their kids today, they will be rendered the polio drops through the mopping programme on 19th and 20th January by our team of doctors and nursing staff”, he added.

Meanwhile TTD has set up centres in Aswini, GNC, RTC bus stand, CRO, Health office, KKC, PAC I and II, F-type Quarters, Balaji Nagar(2 centres), SV High School, TTD Employees Dispensary, Rambhageecha-III, inside temple, Vahana Mandapam, VQC I and II, Medaramitta, Varahaswamy Guest House, MBC-26, Supadham and Papavinasanam. Two more mobile centres have also been set up near Alipiri foot path and near guest houses where pilgrim influx is more.

Chief Medical Officer of TTD Dr N Vikas, Aswini Hospital Medical Superintendent, Tirumala Dr Narmada, Central Hospital Superintendent, Tirupati Dr RVS Muralidhar and his team of doctors, nursing staff were also present.
