TIRUMALA JEO INSPECTS NARAYANAGIRI QUEUE LINES

Tirumala, 13 Dec. 14: As the twin important occasions of New year and Vaikuntha ekadasi are falling on the same day onJan 1 in 2015, Tirumala Joint Executive Officer has inspected the queue lines in Tirumala on Saturday.

Later speaking to media persons he said, from the past one decade the pilgrims have been thronging on Jan 1 and on Vaikuntha Ekadasi day to have darbhanga of lord first day of the year and darbhanga of Vaikuntha dwaram respectively. “This year as both the occasions are coinciding on the same we are anticipating more number of devotees who are willing to have Vaikuntha dwaram darshan on the first day of the year itself”.

Thee JEO further said, on the other hand the new year and Vaikunta ekadasi are falling on Thursday and Vaikunta Dwadasi on Friday relatively reducing the number of darshan hours to pilgrims due to maha suddhi and abhishekam respectively. So we are making arrangements keeping all these factors in view. However a final decision with regard to darshan will be arrived only after discussing with the new Executive Officer Sri D Sambasiva Rao taking over the charge of his office”, he added.

The JEO also said, that there will be no privilege darshan for donors, aged, physically challenged, parents with infants, NRIs, defence personnel on these days.

Earlier, the JEO inspected queue lines at Narayana Gardens, Varahaswamy Rest House, Nandakam and leaks hi and discussed with engineering and security officials.

CE Sri Chandrasekhar reddy, SE II Sri Ramesh reddy, ACVSO Sri Siva Kumar Reddy, temple Dy EO Sri Chinnamgari Ramana and others were also present. Later the JEO also had a review meeting with all HoDs on the arrangements at his office in Gokulam Guest House.
