TIRUMALA JEO INSPECTS Rs.300 NEW COMPLEX

Tirumala, 13 Apr. 16: Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju on Wednesday inspected the Rs.300 new complex in Tirumala.

After inspecting the arrangements, the JEO told media persons, that the new system which was launched on April 8, is winning the hearts of the pilgrims with its all round facilities including luggage counters, food court and cafeteria.

He said, in the wake of huge summer vacation rush which is expected to swell from this week end, TTD has restricted VIP break darshan only to protocol VIPs and cancelled morning slot darshan to aged and physically challenged on Fridays fromApril 15 till June 30.

Reacting over the accidental death of a wild bear in the ghat road, he said, usually the wild beasts move from the woods to drink water in the water points set up by TTD in the ghat road for the sake of these animals to quench their thirst.

“Unfortunately a wild bear was hit by a vehicle in the wee hours today. However we request the vehicle riders to drive with attention, following the prescribed traffic norms, to avoid such incidents in future”, he said.

Temple DyEO Sri C Ramana, EE Sri Prasad Babu, Vigilance Officer Sri Ravinder Reddy were also present.
