TIRUMALA JEO REVIEWS CJI, AP CM VISIT ARRANGEMENTS

Tirumala, 7 April 2016: In connection with the two day official visit of Honourable Chief Justice of India Sri T S Thakur to Tirumala for Darshan of Lord Venkateswara on April 9 and 10, Tirumala JEO Sri K S Sreenivasa Raju reviewed with various HoDs on various arrangements to be made for protocol VIP visit.

The review meeting was held in Annamaiah Bhavan at Tirumala on Thursday. The JEO instructed the officials as the honourable CM of AP Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu will also arrive on Saturday evening to formally welcome the Honourable CJ, the Engineering, Reception and Vigilance wings to be prepared with their network of activities. “All the rest houses should be checked once for any repairs of AC, geisers, lights etc. and the construction material laying on ghat road should be cleared and kept aside till the completion of VIP visit. The EDP department should keep the computer, wi-fi, printer facility ready in the VIPs staying guest houses”, he directed the engineering officials.

He also instructed the Annaprasadam Wing to be prepared with the menu to be served to the dignitaries during their stay at Tirumala. “The vigilance should co-ordinate with the Police department and make proper security arrangements. The PRO should keep ready the lamination photo of Lord, calendars, diaries while the temple with other traditional honours usually extended to the protocol VIPs”, he maintained.

JEO INSPECTS REST HOUSES

After the completion of review meeting, JEO inspected the rest houses where the VVIPs are going to stay including Padmavathi Main, Lailavathi, TSR, Reliance etc. along with Temple DyEO sri C Ramana, Annaprasadam, DyEO Reception Sri Kodandarama Rao DyEO Sri S Venugopal, Chief Vigilance Officer Sri Ravinder Reddy, PRO Dr T Ravi, SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy, SE Electricals Sri Venkateswarulu and other officers. He instructed the officials concerned about the necessary arrangements to be made in the rest houses in view of the VIP visit.
