TIRUMALA JEO REVIEWS ON RAMAKRISHNA TEERTHA MUKKOTI
Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju on Wednesday evening discussed with the officials over the arrangements for the upcoming religious event Sri Ramakrishnateertha Mukkoti which is scheduled for January 24.
Reviewing in his chambers in Gokulam Rest House in Tirumala he directed the forest officials to clear the shrubs and bushes and enable the path for the benefit of the pilgrims who take part in this event. He also instructed the Vigilance, Engineering, Annaprasadam and Health wings to make necessary arrangements to make the event a grand success.
The JEO said, apart from the festivals which are being observed in the Tirumala temple, in the recent times, the Teertha Mahotsavams also gained importance. During last year, we have successfully conducted Tumburu teetham, Ramakrishna Teertham, Pandava Teertham, Papavinasana Teertham etc. in a big way. This year also we will conduct the fete with religious pomp and gaiety. The engineering wing should lay a temporary stair in the Ramakrishna Teertham for the convenience of the pilgrims. The vigilance wing should deploy enough number of security to see that no untoward incident takes place. While the health department should arrange 20 thousand water packets and Annaprasadam wing Pulihora, upma, sambari rice, daddojanam for the occasion. All the arrangements should commence from Thursday itself”, he instructed the officials concerned.
