TIRUMALA LOCALS GETS SEPARATE COUNTER FOR DARSHAN

TICKETS TO BE ISSUED ON 6TH APRIL AND DARSHAN ON 8TH APRIL

TIRUMALA, APRIL 3:  The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has all set to issue tokens meant for Srivari Darshan to the locals of Tirumala by setting up separate darshan token counters in CRO at Tirumala for “Tuesday Locals Darshan”.

Following the long pending request from locals to provide darshan of Lord Venkateswara, TTD has approved darshan for locals falling in the limits of of Tirupati corporation, Tirumala and Tiruchanoor Panchayats on  “First Tuesday”(most often) of every month for which the darshan tokens will be issued on first sunday which came into force in the month of February.

In the first month TTD issued 1000 tokens while in the second month 5000 tokens have been issued in Mahati Auditiorium on first cum first serve basis to the locals. However over the request of Tirumala residents to set up separate counters in Tirumala, TTD has decided to issue 4500 tokens for Tirupati and Tiruchanoor denizens at Mahati Auditorium and remaining 500 tokens at CRO in Tirumala for the locals of hill town.

The locals who are willing to have darshan should bring their original Aadhar Card to get the darshan tokens without fail on 6th April. The tokens will be issued to them at Mahati and CRO for the respective category of local residents from 8am onwards on first cum first basis.

Those who have procured tickets will be allowed for darshan on 8th April in a phased manner. The Tirumala locals will be allowed for darshan through Rs.50 ticket entry by 8.30am, while the Tirupati and Tiruchanoor locals from 8.30am on wards through the same entrace near VQC I from 9.30am onwards with 750 persons per slot per hour. While entering for darshan also the lcoals have to bring the Adhaar original cards which is mandatory.
