TIRUMALA SHIRNE SHINES IN KARTHIKA PARVA DEEPOTSAVAM

TIRUMALA, NOV 17:  The holy hills of Tirumala glittered in the illumination of mud lamps as a part of the annual Karthika Parva Deepotsavam which was lit in the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara on Sunday evening.
In connection with the auspicious festival of Karthika Deepam, the entire temple premises glittered under the shine emerging from the wicks lit in mud Pramidalu, Mukulu and Arakam Chatlu that were placed at different places inside the temple as a part of this festival of lights.
A galaxy of lamps consisting over 100 have been lit in the Parimala Ara located adjacent to Yoga Narasimha Swamy temple inside the hill shrine and remaining lamps were lit in front of Akhandam of Sanctum Sanctorum, Kulasekhara Padi, Ramulavari Meda, Garudalwar, Dwarapalakas, Vakulamata Shrine, Varadaraja Swamy Shrine, Viswaksenulavari Sannidhi, Sabha Ara, Chandana Ara, Kshetrapalakula Sanniddhi, Bangaru Vakili, Vendi Vakili, Dhwaja stambham, Balipeetham, Kshetrapalakula Sannidhi, Tirumalaraya Mandapam, Poolabaavi, Tirumala Rayamandapam, Ranganayakula Mandapam, Mahadwaram, Sri Varahaswamy Temple, Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple and Swamy Pushkarini.
TTD EO Sri MG Gopal took part in this celestial fete. While other temple officials and archakas also performed the Karthika deepotsavam with religious fervour.
Meanwhile TTD has cancelled Vasanthotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva and monthly Pournami Garuda Seva in view of this festival.
