TIRUPATI JEO RELEASES PUSHPAYAGAM POSTERS

TIRUPATI, APRIL 22: Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar has released the posters of Pushpayagam of Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple which is to take place on April 25 in his chambers in TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Wednesday.

Addressing the occasion, the JEO said Pushpayagam is one of the important annual religious fetes that is performed in all the TTD temples after annual brahmotsavams of the respective temple.

“To appease the Lord to protect Mother Earth from all the natural calamities and disasters, this celestial fete is being performed. Pushpayagam will be observed in this ancient temple on April 25 between 2pm to 5pm on the advent of the auspicious Punarvasu Nakshatram which happens to be the birth star of Lord Sri Rama while Ankurarpanam will be observed on April 24”, he maintained.

Meanwhile the grihasta pilgrims who wish to take part in this annual fete can pay Rs.500 on which two persons will be allowed.

Temple Deputy EO Sri Bhupathi Reddy was also present.
