TIRUPATI JEO REVIEWS ON APPALAYAGUNTA BRAHMOTSAVAMS

Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar on Thursday reviewed the arrangements for the annual mega event in the famous Sri Prasanna Venakteswara Swamy temple at Appalayagunta about 20km from Tirupati which are scheduled from 8th to 16th of June.

Reviewing with various HODs in the temple premises itself, the JEO said, as a part of the brahmotsavams there will be Kalyanotsavam on June 11 for which vastra samarpana will be there from 15 temples representing each constituency in the district. For annual Garuda Seva which falls on 12th June, the processional deity will be adorned with Lakshmi Kasula Haram and there will be shobha yatra from Tirumala temple to Appalayagunta Shrine in the morning.

He instructed the Health department officials to maintain hygiene in the temple premises, engineering department to erect beautiful thematic cutouts and electrical illuminations, garden department to decorate with floral themes, vigilance to deploy required number of security personnel especially on Garuda Seva day. He also instructed PRO department to take up the publicity for the event in a wide manner and also to deploy abled bodied Srivari Seva volunteers to guide the pilgrims. He has directed the HDPP and other projects to organise attractive programmes with devotional groups infront of the procession of every vehicle during the nine day event.

Special Grade Deputy EO Sri Bhaskar Reddy, HDPP special officer Sri Raghunath, Deputy EO Sri Balaji, Estates officer Sri Devender Reddy and others were also present.
