TIRUPATI JEO REVIEWS ON TIRUCHANOOR BRAHMOTSAVAM ARRANGEMENTS

TIRUCHANOOR, OCT. 21: As the annual brahmotsavams of Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi of Tiruchanoor is scheduled to take place from November 19 to November 27, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar reviewed with various department heads of TTD on the arrangements to be made for the big religious event.

In his review meeting at Sri Padmavathi Guest House in Tirupati on Tuesday evening, the JEO said that heavy pilgrim rush is being anticipated this year for this event when compared to last year and there is need to keep enough quantity of buffer stock of laddu and other prasadams”, he added.

JEO directed the officials concerned to give wide publicity to the festival in the surrounding villages and hamlets with the help of publicity materials like posters, pamphlets and booklets.

He has instructed the officials not to compromise on arrangements and see that the arrangements are on par with the annual brahmotsavams of Tirumala and set up a common control room to monitor the activities round the clock.

He instructed the officials to see that the pilgrims are not put to inconvenience especially during the important festive days of Gaja Vahanam which falls on November 23, Bangaru Ratham on 24th and Panchami Teertham on November 27. “This year after Panchami Teertha snanam all the devotees will be allowed for darshan through the entry point which is going to arranged at Asthanamandapam only to avoid congestion”, he added.

JEO instructed the electrical department to erect new mythological themes to decorate the temple town in a vivid manner and asked the Garden Department officials to prepare innovative floral structures for the event.

CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Temple Spl Grade Deputy EO Smt Chenchu Lakshmi, Services Deputy EO Sri Siva Reddy, GM Transport Sri Sesha Reddy, VGO Tirupati Sri Ravindra Reddy, SEs Sri Ramachandra Reddy, Sri Sudhakar Rao and other officials were also present.
