TIRUPATI JEO REVIEWS ON VAIKUNTHA EKADASI ARRANGEMENTS IN LOCAL TEMPLES

TIRUPATI, DEC 18: Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar reviewed with heads of various departments over the arrangements to be made for the auspicious occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadasi which coincides with New Year on January 1 in 2015.

The review meeting held at SPGH in Tirupati on Thursday. Addressing the meeting, the JEO instructed the officials concerned of various departments including publicity, health, vigilance, temple, engineering etc. not to compromise on arrangements as heavy turn out of devout is anticipated. “It may be a single day event, but is a challenging task since tens of thousands of devotees throng on the same day. Besides, this year it is coinciding with New Year Day also. So there will be a huge increase in the pilgrim numbers due to the twin auspicious occasions falling on the same day”, he maintained.
All HODs and senior officers were also present.
