TPT JEO REVIEWS SRI KT BRAHMOTSAVAM ARRANGEMENTS
Tirupati, 17 February 2016: Tirupati JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar on wednesday evening reviewed on the arrangements for annual brahmotsavams in the temple of sri kapilateertham which is from February 29 to March 9 in Sri KT temple with the Heads of various departments of TTD.
In Sri KT: The review meeting was first conducted in Sri KT with the officers of various departments of TTD taking care the famous shiva temple activities.
He has instructed the civil and electrical wings to erect arches near Urban Haat, Reliance Mart, Cherlopalle Bypass for the information of pilgrims coming from other areas.
He had also instructed for colourful illumination and floral thematic arches for the occasion.
”The vigilance, srivari sevaks, scouts should be properly utilised to man the pilgrim crowd. The sanitation measures should be properly maintained”, he added.
Adding further he said the vahanams, thandlu, and other processional materials should be properly checked. Annaprasadams, water supply should be properly ensured. “The cultural programmes should be more attractive for the visiting pilgrims”, he maintained.
Earlier the JEO inspected the temple premises and the queue lines to be erected for the sake of multitude of devotees for the ten day brahmotsavams scheduled from February 29 to March 9 with ankurarpanam on February 28 as per tenets of Saivagama.
PUSHPANJALI SEVA
As a special attraction for the occasion, TTD has contemplated to introduce Pushpanjali seva in Sri KT on the lines of pushpayagam in Tirumala temple and other vaishnavaite temples of TTD.
SE 1 Sri Ramesh Reddy, Additional CVSO Sri Venkata Sivakumar Reddy, Health Officer Dr Sermista, Garden Dy Director Sri Srinivasulu, DyEOs Sri Vijayasaradhi, Sri Balaji, Hdpp Secretary Sri P Ramakrishna were also present.
