“TRAYAHNIKA NAVAMI” FESTIVAL IN KARVETINAGARAM

Tirupati, 12 March 2015: The festival of Sri Rama Navami will be observed for three-days in the ancient temple of Sri Venugopala Swamy in Karvetinagaram about 50km from here from 26 to 28 March.

As a part of this “Trayahnika” festival, on first day evening on March 26, Lord Sri Kodanda Rama proceeds along the mada streets on Tiruchi between 7pm to 9pm followed by Kalpavriksha Vahanam on March 27 during the same time and on the final day that is on festive occasion of of Sri Rama Navami, the Lord takes in Tiruveedhi utsavam both in the morning and in the evening. In the morning the Lord rides on his favourite Hanumantha Vahanam between 7am to 9am and on Sarvabhoopala Vahanam in the evening between 7pm to 9pm.

Meanwhile Ugadi Asthanam will also observed in this famous temple on March 21 and Asthanam followed by Panchanga Sravanam will be performed between 4am to 5.30am.
