TRIAL-RUN OF SURYAPRABHA PERFORMED

Tirumala, 10 February 2016: The trial-run of Surya Prabha Vahanam was performed on in front of Srivari temple on Wednesday morning in Tirumala by the temple management.

Among the various vahanams of Lord, Surya Prabha Vahanam is considered to be mightiest and heaviest processional carrier. So, as a regular practice the officials of TTD performed a trial run of the celestial vehicle and checked it’s functional capacity in Tirumala for Rathasapthami.

In-charge temple DyEO Sri Chandrasekhar Pillai, Temple Peishkar Sri Selvam, VGO Sri Ravindra Reddy, AVSO Sri Mallikarjun, DyEE Sri Rajasekhar and others were also present.
