TTD AYURVEDIC COLLEGE TO BE MADE ROLE MODEL INSTITUTE-TTD EO

TIRUPATI, 13 January 2016: Ayurveda is one of the most ancient forms of medical sciences in India and TTD is committed towards making its own Ayurvedic institute as a role model in the entire country, said TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao.

The EO inspected Ayurvedic College and Ayurvedic Hospital in Tirupati on Wednesday and reviewed with the concerned HoDs on various developmental aspects of the respective institutions. Later he interacted with the patients and students and received their opinions and feed back.

Afterwards he also inspected the TTD Ayurvedic Pharmacy at Narasinghapurama near Tirupati.

Speaking to media persons here he said, the motto of TTD is to develop its Ayurvedic hospital as a role model in the entire country. “We have less number of model institutes in Ayurveda. We have resources and we will develop this institution a model one”, he added.

He also said, the TTD is growing many ayurvedic medicinal plants in its pharma land near Srinivasa Mangapuram. We identify more medicinal species and grow them and even contemplate to supply them to other institutions in future”, he maintained.

Ayurvedic College Principal Dr Parvathi, Ayurvedic Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Rajaiah, CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri O Balaji, PRO Dr T Ravi were also present.
