TTD CANCELS POURNAMI GARUDA SEVA ON APRIL 4

Tirumala, 1 April 2015: In view of Lunar Eclipse on April 4, TTD has cancelled Pournami Garuda Seva in Tirumala on the same day.

Usually during every Pournami, Lord Malayappa Swamy rides on Golden Gauda Vahanam in the four mada streets encircling hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara between 7pm to 9pm. But since lunar eclipse falls between 3:45pm to 7:15pm on April 4, Ttd has cancelled Pournami Garuda Seva on that day. The pilgrims are requested to make note of this change.
