TTD CHAIRMAN ANNOUNCES RS.25K AS CASH AWARD TO OVERALL CHAMPION

Tirupati, 2 February 2017: The Trust Board Chief of TTD Dr Ch Krishnamurthy has announced an individual cash prize of Rs.25 thousands to overall champion in TTD sports and games from his pocket as prize money.

Inaugurating TTD Sports and Games Meet in Parade Grounds at Tirupati on Thursday, the Chairman said, the sports and games will help to enhance both physical and mental fitness of the employees, so that they can do better services to pilgrims.

Later in his message, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao said, participation is more important than victory. “Health is Wealth. If we are healthy, then we can render more services to pilgrims”, he added.

TTD Board member Sri G Bhanuprakash Reddy said the games and sports are helping the employees to work with enhanced spirit and render best possible services to pilgrims.

Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar said, TTD has fixed the prize money as Rs.1600 for First, Rs.1400 for Second and Rs.1200 for the third prize.

Earlier the Chairman and EO hoisted the sports flag and the employees from all institutions of TTD took the sports oath. Both in service and retired employees were present.
