TTD CHAIRMAN COMPLIMENTS VAHANAM BEARERS

FELICITATES THEM WITH CASH PRIZE AND NEW VASTRAMS

TIRUMALA, SEPT.23: TTD Trust Board Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy while complimenting the impeccable services of Vahanam bearers during Vahanam procession of Lord, felicitated each one of them with cash award and new set of clothes.

This fete took place in Vaibhavotsava Mandapam at Tirumala on Wednesday evening before the commencement of Aswa Vahanam, the last one in the series of Vahana Sevas during annual Brahmotsavams.

Addressing the occasion, the Chairman lauded the services of Vahanam bearers who carry the lofty vehicles with skill and expertise on their shoulders all through the procession along four mada streets every day and night. Later he gave away Rs.5000 to each of 60 Vahanam bearers along with new clothes.

TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao and Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, TTD Board Member Sri G Bhanuprakash Reddy, Temple DyEO Sri Chinnamgari Ramana were also present.
