TTD CHAIRMAN TO PARTICIPATE IN LANKA FEST

Tirupati, 7 July 2016: TTD chairman Dr Ch Krishna Murthy will fly to Sri Lanka on July 8 to take part in Kataragama temple fete on July 10along with his personal secretary Sri K Giridhar.

The Kataragama temple dedicated to Lord Muruga in Lanka is one of the most important festivals in this island. The fest has commenced on July 5 in a ceremonial way and will conclude on July 20. The Ttd board chief has been specially invited by this temple board for the fete as chief guest. Accepting their invite, chairman will take part in the special puja scheduled on July 10.

On this auspicious ceremony, a massive procession with over 100 elephants and thousands of traditional dance troupes will be performed. Later on July 11, the chairman will participate in a formal meeting arranged by local Hindu organizations and fly back to Tirupati on July 12.
