TTD COFFERS ADD Rs.62LAKHS ON AKSHAYA TRITIYA

Tirumala, 30 April 2017:The pilgrims purchased the gold, silver and copper dollars of Lord Venkateswara on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya which fell on April 29 which added about Rs.62lakhs to the coffers of TTD.

As a matter of sentiment coupled with devotion, the pilgrims purchased the gold, silver and copper dollars of Lord Venkateswara in a big way for the occasion.

The sales includes 38 numbers of 10grams, 132 dollars of 5grams and 463 numbers of 2grams gold dollars while silver includes 81 numbers of 50 grams, 284 numbers of 10 grams, 632 numbers of 5grams. Apart from gold and silver the devotees also purchased 850 copper dollars in 10grams and 750 in 5grams category.
