TTD COMMENCES MILK DISTRIBUTION WITH SRIVARI SEVAKULU IN VQC

Tirumala, 1 June, 2017: Following the suggestions from pilgrims, TTD has commenced milk distribution to infants and children in compartments of VQC through female Srivari Seva volunteers on Thursday.

Over the instructions of TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju chalked out an action plan along with Annaprasadam and Srivari Seva officials and came out with an innovative idea of serving milk with female volunteers in compartments.

The volunteers wearing an exclusive apron designed for this specific service carried milk jars and cups and diatributed milk to children in each compartment on requirement. Pilgrims also expressed their pleasure over this arrangement by TTD.

Special Officer Annaprasadam Smt Chenchu Lakshmi. Catering Officer Sri Sastry, AEO Srivari Sri Gopal Rao and others were also present.
