TTD DEPOSITS 2780 KILOS OF GOLD UNDER LONG TERM GOLD DEPOSIT SCHEME WITH SBI_ టిటిడి 2,780 కిలోల బంగారం ఎస్‌బిఐలో దీర్ఘకాలిక డిపాజిట్‌
Tirupati, 28 August 2017: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), has deposited 2780 kg of gold with the State Bank of India under Long Term Gold Deposit Scheme.
The CGM of SBI Amaravathi Circle, Sri Mani Palvesan handed over the certificates for the same to Additional FACAO Sri O Balaji in the laters’ chamber in TTD administrative building.
Speaking on this occasion, the CGM expressed his pleasure to be associated with TTD who has been one of the biggest clients of SBI. “We foresee the same co-operation and support from TTD in future too”, he added.
Sri RV Deshpande-GM, Sri Kulkarni-DGM, Sri Madhu Mohan Patro-AGM were also present.
In the wake of Gold Monetisation Scheme announced by Central Government, TTD has taken a decision to convert its gold deposits under Short Term Gold Deposit Scheme to Long Term Gold Deposit Scheme in February 2017. In that back drop 2075Kg of Gold Deposit has been converted into Long Term Deposit Scheme at a rate of 2.5% per annum for a period of 12 years from the date of investment under Gold Monetisation Scheme.
Apart from this the gold which was handed over to Mumbai Mint in May 2017, was converted and refined into pure gold of 705Kg which was received by TTD from Mint, was also deposited under Long Term Gold Deposit Scheme for a period of 12 years at 2.5% interest in SBI, taking the total gold deposits to 2780Kg for which the State Bank of India has now handed over the certificates to TTD.

ఆగస్టు 28, తిరుపతి, 2017: టిటిడి 2,780 కిలోల బంగారాన్ని స్టేట్‌ బ్యాంక్‌ ఆఫ్‌ ఇండియాలో 2.5 శాతం వడ్డీతో దీర్ఘకాలిక ప్రాతిపదికన 12 ఏళ్లకు గాను డిపాజిట్‌ చేసింది. ఈ మేరకు ఎస్‌బిఐ అధికారులు సోమవారం బంగారం డిపాజిట్‌ పత్రాలను టిటిడి ఎఫ్‌ఏ మరియు సిఏవో శ్రీ ఓ.బాలాజికి అందించారు. తిరుపతిలోని టిటిడి పరిపాలన భవనంలో గల ఎఫ్‌ఏ, సిఏవో కార్యాలయంలో ఈ కార్యక్రమం జరిగింది.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఎస్‌బిఐ చీఫ్‌ జనరల్‌ మేనేజర్‌ శ్రీ మణిపల్వేశన్‌ మాట్లాడుతూ టిటిడి బంగారాన్ని తమ బ్యాంకులో డిపాజిట్‌ చేయడం సంతోషంగా ఉందన్నారు. భవిష్యత్తులోనూ ఇదేవిధమైన సంబంధాలను కొనసాగిస్తామని తెలిపారు.
కాగా, కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రవేశపెట్టిన గోల్డ్‌ మానిటైజేషన్‌ పథకం ప్రకారం 2017, ఫిబ్రవరిలో టిటిడి స్వల్పకాలిక డిపాజిట్లన్నింటికీ దీర్ఘకాలిక డిపాజిట్లుగా మార్చాలని నిర్ణయించింది. ఆ మేరకు ప్రస్తుతం స్వల్పకాలిక డిపాజిట్లుగా ఉన్న 2,075 కిలోల బంగారాన్ని దీర్ఘకాలిక డిపాజిట్లుగా ఎస్‌బిఐలో డిపాజిట్‌ చేసింది. దీంతోపాటు ఈ ఏడాది మేలో ముంబయి మింట్‌కు టిటిడి పంపిన బంగారు నగలను కరిగించి శుద్ధి చేసిన అనంతరం 705 కిలోల స్వచ్ఛమైన బంగారం టిటిడికి అందింది. ఈ బంగారాన్ని కూడా ఎస్‌బిఐలో డిపాజిట్‌ చేసింది. దీంతో మొత్తం 2,780 కిలోల బంగారాన్ని ప్రస్తుతం ఎస్‌బిఐలో టిటిడి దీర్ఘకాలిక పథకంలో డిపాజిట్‌ చేసింది.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఎస్‌బిఐ జనరల్‌ మేనేజర్‌ శ్రీ ఆర్‌వి.దేశ్‌పాండే, డిజిఎం శ్రీ కులకర్ణి, ఎజిఎం శ్రీ మధుమోహన్‌ పాత్రో ఇతర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
