TTD EO ALERTS ALL VIG AND FOREST DEPARTMENTS OVER “VAARDHA”
Tirupati 12 Dec. 16: With the meteorological department sounding heavy rains in Tirumala for the next two days due to the effect of cyclone “Vaardha”, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao alerted Vigilance, Forest and Engineering wings of TTD to me more cautious on both ghat road measures.
During the weekly review meeting held in his chambers in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Monday with senior officers of TTD, the Executive Officer threw special focus on ghat road precautionary measures.
“The vigilance, engineering and forest officials should be alert round the clock especially in the vital points to avoid any sort of inconvenience to the pilgrims”, he reiterated.
Meanwhile two JCBs with one stationed at Mokalimettu and another at Alipiri were kept ready by TTD to remove boulders if any. A team of officials with a Deputy Executive Engineer, vigilance officer and a forest officer have also been constituted for surveillance b TTD.
On the other hand the EO instructed the engineering wing to complete the beautification works in Tirupati in view of Indian Science Congress before December 25.
The EO also reviewed on developmental works in Srinivasa Mangapuram temple including installation water treatment machine in temple tank, mobile deposit counter etc.
Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji, CE SriChandrasekhar Reddy, Additional CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy and other HoDs were also present.
