TTD EO CALL ON SRIVARI SEVAKULU AND DHARMA PRACHARAKULU TO MAKE MANAGUDI A HUGE SUCCESS

TIRUPATI, AUGUST 17: As TTT along with AP Endowments Department has been gearing up for yet another big religious event of seventh phase of Managudi across 23 districts in Telugu States on August 29, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Monday gave clarion cal. To all the Srivari Sevakulu and Bhajana Mandali members of the respective districts to participate in the event to make it a grand success.

Weekly review meeting was held in the chambers of TTD Executive Officer, Dr D Sambasiva Rao in TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Monday with senior officers.

Reviewing with the concerned officials, the EO said, that Managudi is one of the most important and effective mass programme which can be utilised for Sanatana Hindu Dharma Prachara to reach wide range of people.

Adding further the EO said, to massify this programme in an extensive manner, he said the sacred threads, “Govinda Raksha Kankanams”, should be distributed to people in all the 54,000 plus temples in AP and TS. The materials should reach all the selected temples in both the Telugu Speaking states within the stipulated time before August 24″, he said.

He also instructed Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad(HDPP) wing officials to include Srivari sevakulu and Bhajana Mandali members during these three-days, including “Alaya Shobha” on August 27, “Varalakshmi Vratam” on August 28 and “Managudi” on August 29.

Later he has directed the Tiruchanoor authorities to shift Prasadam counter outside the temple and also keep the premises clean.

All senior officials were present in the meeting.

MANAGUDI PREPARATIONS COMMENCED:

Meanwhile the preparations for seventh phase Managudi slated for August 29 commenced with the sacred “Akshatha”(holy rice) preparation activity on Monday in HDPP office premises in Tirupati.

Around 6000kgs of rice, 500kgs of turmeric and 150 kilos of ghee were used to prepare the holy rice with the help of over 50 Srivari sevakulu under the supervision of HDPP Secretary Sri Prayaga Ramakrishna.
