TTD EO COMPLIMENTS ENGINEERING WORKS COMMITTEE

TIRUPATI, FEB 21: TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao complimented the efforts of Engineering Works Committee headed by Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju for adopting techniques to speed up works as per standards.

Reviewing on the Engineering Works with the Committee in his chambers in TTD Administrative Building on Saturday, the EO asked the concerned officials to be more explicit and suggested to bring more competition to the works tenders, ensure quality of works as per the standards while executing the works with speed within specified time frame.

He suggested the Engineering Works Committee comprising Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, FACAO Sri O Balaji, Chief Engineer Sri C Chandra Sekhar Reddy to hold monthly review meeting on engineering works. “At the CE level are review meeting need to be hold at a span of every forth night over pending works and the outcome should discussed by the Committee in the monthly meeting. “Also see that there is no delay in works and payments, The report should furnish the expenditure incurred, amount of works executed etc. by every month end without fail”, he instructed.

He also directed the officials to set up more first aid centres with restroom facilities on both the ghat roads for the sake of the pilgrims who are reaching Tirumala trekking footpath routes.

Meeting was attended by committee chairman and members. TTD PRO Sri T Ravi was also present.
