NAKSHATRA VANAM TO REMAIN A SPECIAL ATTRACTION

WALK TRACK WITH 7.5M TO BE DEVELOPED

Tirupati, 1 October 2016: With an aim to develop Avilala tank as a role model “Spiritual Eco Park”, the temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) is completing the beautification works on war-footing and in this connection, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao inspected the ongoing works in the site on Saturday.

Later speaking to media persons, the EO said, the temple administration has decided to develop the tanks present in and around Tirupati and as a part of it, in the first phase we have released Rs.1.1cr towards the development of the Avilala tank. “We will develop walking track, Nakshatravanam etc. in this area providing a pleasant environs to the people in surrounding places “, he added.

Briefing about the beautification works, the Deputy Conservator of Forests Sri Sivaram Prasad, said, we are planting some plants which have religious significance including Tulasi, Maruvakam etc. and also developing “Astrological Park”.

The TTD Chief Engineer Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy said, the walking track will be developed in 7.5km and a percolation tank will be constructed through which watering will be done to the eco park.

SE Sri Ramulu, EE Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy was also present.
