TTD EO INSPECTS QUEUE LINES

Tirumala, 13 Dec. 14: As the twin important occasions of New year and Vaikuntha ekadasi are fast approaching, the Executive Officer Dr D Samba Siva Rao along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju has inspected the queue lines which commenced at ATGH queue line and covered Narayanagiri footpath queue lines, VQC 2 and other vital places in Tirumala on Saturday.

Later speaking to media persons the EO said, as there are just ten more days left for the twin mega events of New Year Day and Vaikuntha Ekadasi which will be occurring on January 1 in the new year 2015, TTD is making elaborate arrangements to meet the pilgrim demand. “This year as both the occasions are coinciding on the same we are anticipating more number of devotees who are willing to have Vaikuntha dwaram darshan on the first day of the year itself. We are taking no chances on arrangements. We are planning to make a comfortable seating to nearly 40 thousand pilgrims in the compartments and also outside the queue lines. Our only motto is to see that no pilgrim is put to inconvenience. The queue line starting from ATGH and concluding inside temple is about 2.7kms and for this we will be operating only single line for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan and give a comfortable feel to the multitude of visiting pilgrims”, he maintained.

SE II Sri Ramesh reddy, ACVSO Sri Siva Kumar Reddy, temple Dy EO Sri Chinnamgari Ramana and others were also present.
