TTD EO INSPECTS TEMPLE

Tirumala, 23 April 2017: The TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Sunday inspected the movement of lines on Sunday. The inspected lasted for about couple of hours and the lines moved off smoothly without any inconvenience to pilgrims.

With the innovative steps initiated by TTD in view of heavy summer rush which commenced this week end on wards, including the restriction of VIP break darshan only to protocol VIPs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday till June end has given scope to provide darshan to more number of common pilgrims. The two pillar system initiated by the temple management also gave good results.

In spite of 93000 odd pilgrims having darshan on Saturday, the out side lines in Narayanagiri Gardens lasted only for couple of hours in the late hours on April 22.

Selvam, a regular pilgrim from Salem of Tamilnadu expressed immense pleasure over the arrangements by TTD. “Every year I used to come by first week end after the commencement of summer vacation. Last year it had been a hectic day as we waited for long lasting hours in the compartments and queue lines. But this year the arrangements by the management are extraordinary. Distribution of Annaprasadam by TTD at Vaikuntham Queue Complex is also planned. We had darshan within two hours of release of our compartment. We had a very good darshan without much waiting either in compartments or in side the temple”, he added.

Temple DyEO Sri Kodanda Rama Rao, AVSO I Sri Kurma Rao, Temple Peishkar Sri Ramesh were also present.
