TTD EO REVIEWS ON RATHASAPTHAMI ARRANGEMENTS

Tirumala, 9 February 2016: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Tuesday reviewed the ongoing arrangements for one day Brahmotsavam, the Rathasapthami which is scheduled for February 14.

The meeting took place in Annamaiah Bhavan at Tirumala. Speaking on this occasion, the EO instructed the HoDs of Temple, Annaprasadam, Health, Vigilance, Reception to be more cautious and offer much better services to the scores of pilgrims who are expected to throng to witness all seven vahanams on that day.

He instructed the engineering wing to complete the deep cleaning of rooms and some minor repair works inside Potu, temple, all rest houses, new Rs.300 queue line before March end as the summer rush is expected to commence from APRIL onwards.

TRIAL-RUN OF SURYAPRABHA ON FEB 10

Meanwhile the trial run of Surya Prabha Vahanam will be performed on February 10 in front of Srivari temple by 10am.

VERTICAL GARDENS TO MUSE PILGRIMS FOR EVER FROM FEB 14

The unique and innovative concept of vertical gardens introduced by Garden wing of TTD under the instructions of TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao for Vaikuntha Ekadasi last year on trial basis is going to muse pilgrims for ever from Rathasapthami Day onwards in Tirumala.

According to TTD Garden Deputy Director Sri Srinivasulu, these gardens can be changed thrice in a year for every four months. Some donors have come forward to take up the innovative task which will add the extra glamour to the hill shrine.

CVSO Sri D Nagendra Kumar, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy and other officers were also present.
