Tirupati, 12 September 2016: For convenience and facilitation of the donors for the several trusts and schemes of TTD, a special online application has been soft launched on a pilot basis by the TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao today.

Speaking after the event which was conducted at the EO’s chambers in the TTD Admin building Dr Sambasiva Rao said large number of donors had been contributing to the TTD trusts and schemes as the TTD had taken up path breaking socio-economic and dharmic activities.

The new software application currently handled 9 TTD trusts and One scheme wherein their digital pass book would be generated within 46 hours of their contributions. Till now based on the donor ID no and hard copy of passbook No the digital passbook was generated. The facilities like darshan, accomodation etc for them could not be booked online.

EO said that the TTD has so far 40,000 donors who could all benefit with hassle free provision of facilities when they come for Tirumala darshan with the new software App. All the hiccups would be resolved during the trial run to provide the donors with more comfort free pilgrimage.

The EO also directed the officials of all TTD trusts to update the website on all the works taken up under the trusts for the benefit of the donors. He also said that the visuals of all the trust activities should be telecast through the SVBC to spread awareness among donors.

He said the donations made on the e-hundi app was directly credited to the Srivari Hundi account. Similarly the the donor management App will also be linked to the e-donation app. He also advised the officials to resolve issues of pending pass books to donors and issue digital passbooks to them within three days flat.
