TTD FOREST MAISTRY BAGS BIO-DIVERSITY AWARD

TIRUMALA, MAY 22: Sri D Bhaskar Naidu, who is working as Forest Maistry in TTDs has been felicitated with prestigious “Bio-Diversity Award” for the year 2015 in recognition of his impeccable services in the conservation of Biodiversity of Snakes in Seshachalam Hills.

In a function held at Port Kalavathi Auditorium in Akkayapalem in Visakhapatnam on the occasion of World Bio-diversity Day, on Friday, Mr. D. Bhaskar Naidu, also popularly known as “Pamula Naidu” was given away with the esteemed award.

The Deputy Conservator of Forests of TTD, Sri NV Sivaram Prasad complimented Mr Naidu for bagging the award and enhancing the reputation of the institution. The entire workforce of TTD apart from the departmental colleagues congratulated Mr Naidu for his rare achievement.

Meanwhile in the last five years, Mr Bhaskar Naidu has caught hold of over 5000 odd varieties of venomous snakes in Tirumala town and released them in the thick woods of Seshachalam without harming the reptiles.
