TTD geared for Navaratri Brahmotsavam

Tirumala, 12 October, 2015: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams was fully geared with all arrangement to receive devotees of Lord Venkateswara for the grand celebrations of the Navaratri Brahmaotsavams slated to commence from October 14 to October 22nd.

The festival will be kicked off with the Ankurarpanam on October 13 from 7.00 to 8.00 PM and keeping in view of all past experiences all the divisions of TTD are burning mid night oil to make the stay and visit of devotees more devotionally and spiritually fruitful. All the arjita sevas, advance booking of rooms, entry for aged, lactating mothers and the handicapped have been suspended in view of the Brahmotsavam festival. All facilities like rooms, etc are on first come first basis and no reservations.

Devotees are requested to not throw coins and grains at the Vahanams during the processions and put them instead in the Hundi. In all 2500 Srivari Sevaks, 600 scouts and guides, additional police force have been deployed to provide hassle free service to devotees. The SVBC has made elaborate arrangement with sophisticated equipment to provide enhanced darshan of the lord during the Vahanams and also the Snapana Thirumanjanam during the Brahmotsavams.

Since it is twin Brahmotsavam this year in view of Adhika masam, there is no Dwajarohanam and Dwajaavarohanm.
