TTD HOLDS BOOK SELLERS MEET AT TIRUPATI

Tirupati, 4 December 2014: The Book Sellers meet held at Sri Padmavathi Guest House in Tirupati by TTD under the chairmanship of Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar on Thursday evening.

Addressing the review meeting with the book sellers, the JEO said, the spiritual publications of TTD have a huge demand in the market across the states as well in the country. “So we are contemplating to increase the stock points in Vijayawada, Rajamundry, Vizag and Hyderabad apart from Tirupati soon for the speedy movement of our publications. We are also thinking to publish more number of “Gadya Rachanas” (prose) than “Padya Rachanas(poetic) to reach wider range of public. For this we require the support and co-operation of the book sellers”, he added.

Meanwhile the book sellers sought the Tirupati JEO to increase subsidy towards the purchases of books from the existing 33% on the purchase of books above Rs.15thousands. “TTD should think of providing subsidy 33% towards purchase of books from Rs.15thousands to 5lakhs, 405 on purchase of Rs.5lakhs to 10lakhs, 45% for 10lakhs to 25lakhs and 50% towards the purchase of morethan Rs.25lakhs”, they said. Reacting to this, the JEO said, the management will look into the proposal”, he added.

Editor-in-chief Sri Samudrala Lakshmanaiah, PRO Sri T Ravi, Chief Editor Sri Sailakumar and others were also present.
