TTD INVESTS GOLD IN SBI

Tirupati, 25 FEBRUARY 17: The temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) has invested approximately 970kg gold in State Bank of India (SBI).

In a formal programme held in the chambers of TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Saturday evening, the gold deposits are being invested in SBI.

About 970kilos of gold (including interest) which was matured during the month of March 2016 in SBI was received to TTD and the bank has given the certificate for the same. The temple management has again re-invested with the same bank at 1% in short term gold deposit under Gold Monetisation Scheme.
