TTD MULLS BEAUTIFICATION OF LAKES AND PONDS IN TIRUPATI

Tirupati, 1 October 2015: With a noble intention towards the beautification of temple city of Tirupati, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has directed the officials of TTD to come out with an action plan to renovate the lakes and ponds present in the city by developing gardens surrounding them.

A review meeting was held with senior officers in Administrative Building in Tirupati on Thursday evening. The EO said, the thorns and bushes should be removed and gardens be developed to give an pleasant feel to the denizens. “Mini parks can be developed which can also be utilised as Walk Passage. Similarly some nurseries can also be developed. For this an experts committee need to be constituted and officials from Corporation, Revenue and Irrigation can also be included in the committee”, he maintained.

Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, SE I Sri Ramesh Reddy, SE II Ramachandra Reddy, DFO Sri Sivaramprasad, Estates Officer, Sri Balakrishna were also present.
