TTD PHOTO EXPO THROWS LIGHT ON PAST AND PRESENT GLORY OF LORD BALAJI


New Delhi, 7 November 2015: The photo exhibition organised by TTD in the venue of Sri Venakteswara Vaibhavotsavams at New Delhi has been attracting devotees in a big way with its unique theme, “Tirumala-Its Past and Present Glory”.

The Public Relations wing of TTD has arranged a photo expo with rare pictures depicting the past and present glory of Tirumala temple, its environs, VIP visits and its management.

The photos in the exhibition included the daily, weekly, monthly, annual festivals that are being performed to Lord Venkateswara, various precious jewels adorned to lord, several dignitaries of nation including Presidents, PMs, chief ministers of AP, Governors of AP who visited Tirumala in the past eight decades, various social welfare and dharmic activities taken up by TTD, Tirumala and its environs, manuscripts, inscriptions etc.

The Delhites who thronged to witness the rituals performed in the replica temple, took time to visit this informative gallery to know about the interesting things and people associated with Tirumala temple.

TTD CALENDARS AND DIARIES GARNER HUGE DEMAND:

On the other hand the 2016 year 12-sheet calendars and diaries garnered huge demand in the venue as they were sold out like hot cakes.

Among the series of calendars published by TTD, the Rs.75 worth 12-sheet calendars have huge reception in the pilgrim circles as it carries the beautiful, charismatic images of the utsava murthies of Lord Malayappa Swamy and His consorts specifically for each and every month in different attires. TTD has kept 10thousand calendars and 4 thousand diaries for sales which are doing a great business in New Delhi.

Apart from the calendars and diaries, the sales wing of TTD also kept around 150 titles of various spiritual publications in Telugu, Sanskrit, English, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada were put on sales in the stall set up at the venue of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium where the nine-day Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams are underway.
