TIRUPATI, JUNE 15: Around 2000 popular titles published by TTD will soon be shaking hands with netizens as the temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has all set to bring their digital copies on to its website.

During the weekly senior officers review meeting held at the Chambers of Executive Officer on Monday in TTD Administrative building in Tirupati, the EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has instructed the officials concerned to digitize all the publications of TTD to enable the netizens present across the globe. “So far we have placed only 80 books under e-publications. The remaining should also be enabled on our official web site soon so as to popularise them across the world”, he directed the PRO Dr T Ravi. He also instructed to place Annamaiah Sankeertans on web site.

He also directed the concerned to place the rare photographs of TTD on website so that the internet users will relish the images related to Tirumala temple and its glory. He also instructed the sales wing officials to see that TTD publications, CDs and MP3s made available in sufficient numbers for the sake of multitude of visiting pilgrims during Godavri Puskharams which are scheduled to take place between July 14 to 25 in Rajamundry this year.

Later the EO instructed editorial wing of Sapthagiri magazine to enhance the page making and designing of the religious magazine so that it appear more attractive to the readers. He also instructed them to involve good writers and scholars to write articles for the magazine in all the six languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit and English in which it is published. “Place the yester year copies of Sapthagiri magazine on the website for the sake of netizens”, he directed.

The EO instructed the engineering officials to complete the pending works in SVIMS and BIRRD hospitals in a span of six months and finish the repair works of various kalyanamandapams across the state in the next three months.

Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, CVSO Sri Nagendrakumar, TTD CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri O Balaji, All Projects Special Officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao and other senior officers were also present.
