INSPECTS REPLICA TEMPLE ALONG WITH TIRUMALA JEO

SRIVARI TEMPLE OPENS ON AUGUST 7

Tirupati, 31 Jul. 16: The temple management is set for the prestigious river water festival Krishna Pushkarams in the state new capital city said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

The EO along with Tirumala JEO Sri K S Sreenivasa Raju inspected the replica temple on Sunday at PWD grounds in Vijayawada. Later speaking to media persons the TTD top brass officer said the event is the major one of its kind taking place in Navyandhra capital city and TTD is be playing a key role as Lord Venakteswara temple which is coming up here in PWD grounds will be a special attraction to multitude of visiting pilgrims.

“The state government has allotted 25acres of land to TTD to construct replica temple here in the heart of the city. We have reviewed three designs and finalised this temple design which has come out very well.

Adding further he said, “The temple will be opened in a ceremonial manner in PWD grounds on August 7 between 7am and 9:30am. All the arjitha sevas will be performed in Ekantam while darshan will be open from 4am to 10pm for the darshan of pilgrims. Unjal Seva will be performed every day between 7pm and 8pm. We are distributing annaprasadams to over one lakh devotees during pushkarams. Ttd has spent around Rs.7.5crores towards these arrangements” he added.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju briefed the media on the temple related activities including four line darshan, separate entry-exit points, prasadams, parakamani etc. “The photo, flower, museum exhibitions and electrical illumination are going to be special attraction during the fete”, he added.

Later special officer of All Projects Sri N Mukteswara Rao elaborated on the cultural programmes by Annamaiah, Dasa Sahitya and HDPP wings of TTD during pushkarams at Vijayawada PWD grounds, Buddha Statue, Srikakulam Andhra Maha Vishnu temple and at Jogulamba temple in Alampur.

SE3 Sri Sudhakar Rao, Additional CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy, SO Smt Chenchulakshmi, Health Officer Dr Sermista and other officers were also present.
