SAYS TTD WILL CONTINUE ITS SERVICES TO PILGRIMS WITH ENHANCED SPIRIT

TIRUMALA, OCT 23: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao stated that TTD has set an all time record of having provided hassle-free, smooth, early darshan to 6.41lakh pilgrims during Navarathri Brahmotsavams and complimented the strong work force of TTD and Thanked pilgrims for the grand success of the mega religious event.

In a press release, the EO stated TTD has provided darshan to 6,41,831 pilgrims had darshan while 5,75,741 had darshan during annual brahmotsavams last month. “The unique feature is that the pilgrims had both vahana seva as well darshan in a short waiting period, which could be possible only with the efficiency of our staff under efficient monitoring system”, he said.

Listing out the highlights, the EO said, TTD has recorded an all time highest number of 25,73,717 laddus distribution while in September brahmtosavams it was 24,82,155. The other important area which we achieved better results is increase in occupancy ratio which recorded 94% in October and 92% in September brahmtosavams”, he noted.

The other areas included Annaprasadam, 17,780,841 in October and 14,89,303 in September, while Hundi collection stood at Rs.16.28cr in October and Rs.17.37cr in September. The APSRTC has operated 15,268 trips to transport 3,94,264 pilgrims in October while 14,869 trips to transport 3,75, 269 pilgrims in September.

The electrical illumination, floral decorations including Sand Art figurines, Moving 3D carpet, LED Screens, SVBC live coverage with Gimmy Jib cameras etc. stood as a special attraction winning laurels from across the global pilgrims.

On the other hand the services by Srivari Seva Volunteers, scouts and guides apart from TTD Vigilance and police personnel also won appreciation.

The timely act by Engineering wing in removing the boulders which fell on ghat road due to inclement weather conditions also won the kudos of pilgrims. Apart from this, the designing of galleries with proper Entry and Exit gates, Pushkarini gates for Chakrsnanam, round the clock services by Annaprasadam wing in queue lines, gallleries, Annaprasadam Complex, sanitation maintenance by Health wing, 24X7 medical services are also commended by TTD EO.

In his statement the EO said, TTD will continue to serve the pilgrims with enhanced spirit in future.
