TTD STUDENTS WIN TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP
Tirupati,24 January 2017: The students hailing from TTD educational institutions won the Taekwondo Championship 2017 with 13 gold medals.
The championship was held in Malleswaram in Bengaluru on January 21 and 22 for which 60 students took part. Among them 13 won gold medals while 27 silver medallions.
The students along with TTD DyEO for education wing Smt Snehalatha met TTD EO in his chambers on Tuesday evening. The EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao congratulated the students and their coach Sri Gopi Naidu for their achievement. The EO assured to encourage the coaching in Sri Govindaraja Swamy High school by setting up a training centre with all facilities required for Taekwondo.
The children of TTD employees were also there among the students who won the gold and silver medallions.
