TTD TEMPLES DEDICATED TO LORD SRI RAMA GEARS UP FOR BIG FETE

Tirupati, 29 March 2016: The famous Lord Sri Rama temples under the control of TTD are gearing up for the annual religious events.

In Chandargiri temple: In the recently taken over temple of Lord Sri Kodanda Rama at Chandragiri, the annual festival of Brahmotsavams will be observed from April 15-23.

In connection with Sri Ramanavami on April 15, there will be abhishekam to presiding deity between 3am and 4am on that day followed by abhishekam to utsavarulu between 7am and 8am. In the evening between 7pm and 9pm, Tiruveedhi utsavam will be performed. Every day abhishekam is performed while on April 21, Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam is observed between 11am and 12:30pm, in the evening Lord takes ride on celestial Hanumantha Vahanam. On April22, Tiruchi utsavam is observed and on April 23 Sri Rama Pattabhishekam will be performed between 5pm and 6pm. Every day there will be unjal Seva between 6pm and 7pm and on April 24, Vasanthotsavam is performed.

In Sri KRT at Tirupati: On the other hand the famous temple of Sri Kodanda Rama swamy is gearing up for the annual Teppotsavam from April 19-21. The utsavarulu will go on a pleasant float ride in Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini during these three days between 6pm and 7pm. While everyday morning Snapana tirumanjanam is performed to deities.
