TTD TO DEPOSIT SEIZED CASH IN ITS TREASURY
Tirupati 18 May 2021: In a drive to prevent misusage of its properties TTD officials along with state revenue officials on Monday evening seized house No.75 Seshanagar on the Tirupati-Karakambadi Road.
In the Panchanama conducted thereafter in the house, the officials gathered cash of Rs.6,15,050 in a box besides 25 kgs of coins of different denominations.
The property was gifted by TTD to Srinivasa, a resident of Tirumala in lieu of his property at hill shrine in 2008 as part of the rehabilitation scheme.
On hearing that the property was up for sale by anti-social land grabbers as Srinivasa who died a year ago had no living dependents, the TTD JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi had sought a detailed report.
After the report by the TTD estate department through the local Tahsildar, the TTD JEO directed for a futile search for a month to trace his dependants, if any.
Finally, TTD Estate, Vigilance and district revenue officials swung into action on Monday late evening and seized the property and the contents including cash and coins which will be deposited in the TTD treasury on Tuesday morning.

తిరుమలకు చెందిన శ్రీనివాసన్ అనే వ్యక్తికి పునరావాసం కింద 2008లో టీటీడీ సదరు ఇంటిని ఇచ్చింది. సుమారు ఏడాది కాలంగా శ్రీనివాసన్ ఇంట్లో లేకుండా పోయారు.
ఆయనకు కుటుంబ సభ్యులు ఎవరూ లేక పోవడంతో కొంతమంది వ్యక్తులు ఇంటిని ఆక్రమించి, విక్రయించే ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తున్నారని ఉన్నతాధికారులకు ఫిర్యాదు అందింది. జెఈవో శ్రీమతి సదా భార్గవి ఆదేశం మేరకు టీటీడీ ఎస్టేట్ అధికారులు తహసీల్దార్ తో విచారణ చేయించారు.శ్రీనివాసన్ కు భార్య, పిల్లలు లేరని,ఆయన చనిపోయారని తహసీల్దార్ నివేదిక ఇచ్చారు. అయినప్పటికీ వారసులు ఎవరైనా వస్తారేమోనని టీటీడీ అధికారులు నెల రోజుల పాటు వేచి చూశారు. ఎవరూ రాక పోవడంతో టీటీడీ ఎస్టేట్, విజిలెన్స్, రెవెన్యూ తో పాటు తహసీల్దార్ సిబ్బంది సోమవారం సాయంత్రం శ్రీనివాసన్ కు కేటాయించిన ఇంట్లో పంచనామా చేయించేందుకు రంగంలోకి దిగారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఇంట్లోని వస్తువులను స్వాధీనం చేసుకుంటుండగా, ఒక పెట్టెలో రూ. 6, 15,050 నగదుతో పాటు సుమారు 25 కిలోల చిల్లర నాణాలు లభించాయి. ఈ మొత్తం స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్న ఎస్టేట్ అధికారులు మంగళవారం టీటీడీ ఖజానాకు జమచేయనున్నారు.
