TTD TO ORGANISE ANNAMAIAH JAYANTHI FROM MAY 5-7

TALLAPAKA, APRIL 23: The temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTDs) is all set to observe the 607th Jayanthi Mahotsavams of Saint poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya in his native village of Tallapaka in YSR Kadapa district from May 5-7, said TTD Tirupati JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar.

Addressing media persons after release of Annamacharya jayanthi wall posters in Dhyan Mandir at Tallapaka on Thursday, the JEO briefed on the special programmes. He said during these three days Nadaswara Melam, Sapthagiri Sankeertana Goshti Ganam, Srinivasa Kalyanam, special cultural programmes near 108 feet mammoth statue of Annamaiah, Bala Sankeerthana Vibhavari with child artistes who excelled on various musical platforms under the direction of Sri Vasu Rao and many more programmes.

The JEO also said TTD has prepared an action plan to conduct this fete in a grand manner every year. An exclusive museum in Tallapaka is also under proposal he added.

Earlier JEO inspected the ongoing works in Thallapaka along with Local MLA Sri Mallikarjuna Reddy.

Later the JEO released the wall posters of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Narapura Venkateswara Swamy in Jammalamadugu from May 1-11 and three-day annual Teppotsavams from May 2-4 in Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy temple at Devuni Kadapa. Rajampet RDO Sri Venugopal Pillai, DyEOs Sri Balaji, Smt Sarada waere also present.
