TTD TO ORGANISE SVV FOR TWO DAYS ABROAD

Tirupati, 30 April 2016: The temple management of TTD is contemplating to organise the Sri Venakteswara Vaibhavotsavams for two days in abroad.

A review meeting was held in the chambers of Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar on Saturday along with Vaikhanasa agama advisor Sri Sundaravadanacharyulu and other officials.

The JEO said this religious fete will be organised on Saturday and Sunday whenever TTD is performing SVV overseas over the request of NRIs. “To perform this we should chalk out a fixed action plan”, he felt.

The JEO constituted a two member committee with agama advisor Sri Sundaravadanacharyulu and Bokkasam In-charge Sri Gururaja to look in to the modalities of the rituals which could be covered in these two days. “Also design the manpower and puja articles required with restricted figure”, he added.

After a detailed review the JEO finalised a thirty member team comprising Pradhanachrya, religious supervisor, archakas, ekangi, Veda parayanamdars, annamacharya project artists, melam artists, florist, vigilance, engineering, kalyanotsavam project officer etc. to take care of the event abroad.

The JEO also said an officer of special grade DyEO and above will participate in the event along with any one top brass official in an event.

Later the JEO instructed CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy to come with the specifications of the stage, size of mula virat, mandapam, utsavarulu etc.

Meanwhile at the preliminary level it has been decided to perform Sahasrakalasabhiahekam, Vasanthotsavam and Veedhi Utsavam on Saturday and Abhishekam, Sahasradeepalankara seva and Srinivasa Kalyanam on Sunday.

While the purification rituals including punyahavachanam, vastu shanti etc. Will be performed on Friday evening, as a prelude to the event.

Additional FACAO Sri Balaji, special Gr DyEO Sri Bhaskar Reddy, DyEOs Sri C Ramana, Smt Goutami, OSD Kalyanotsavam project Sri Subbarayulu and others were also present.
