TTD TO SEND SPECIAL MEDICAL TEAMS TO HELP CYCLONE HIT CHENNAI

TTD BOARD RESOLUTIONS

Tirumala, 7 December 2015: The TTD Trust Board meeting which was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Monday under the chairmanship of Dr Ch Krishnamurthy has taken some important resolutions.

Some excerpts:

SERVICE ACTIVITY:

➢ In a humane gesture the board has approved to send five medical teams to Chennai along with ambulances and other medical aid to help the civilians in the cyclone hit Chennai, in the neighbouring state of Tamilnadu

ENGINEERING WORKS:

➢ An amount of Rs.20cr has been sanctioned towards the renovation of Vontimitta Kodanda Ramalayam and another Rs.5cr towards the construction of TTD chowltry in Devuni Kadapa in Kadapa district.

➢ An amount of Rs.6.30 cr towards the construction of Molecular Biology Research Lab, Rs.3.68cr for constructing additional rooms in Dialysis building in SVIMS have been approved.

➢ Board approved for a sanction of Rs.3.92cr for improvisation works in Sri Kodandarama Chowltry and Rs.3.67cr in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy Chowltry in Tirupati

➢ Rs.1.25cr have been approved towards the construction of TTD Kalyana Mandapam in Kotta Valasa in Vijayanagaram district.

➢ To renovate Sri Venkateswara temple in Kandukuru in Khammam, Rs.25lakhs have been sanctioned.

➢ Approval to allocate additional land to Sri Raghavendra Swamy mutt in Tirumala on lease basis

MARKETING:

➢ Towards the purchase of 15.30lakh kilos of Sona Masuri rice, an amount of Rs.5.89cr have been sanction at the rate of Rs.38.50per kilo.
➢ Sanctions approved to purchase 22lakh coconuts at a cost of Rs.1.95cr

➢ Board gives nod to buy 45thousand tins of Refine Sun Flower oil at a cost of Rs.5.08cr.

➢ To purchase 1150 numbers of the Patti sarees required for Utsava Murthies in Tirumala, the board has given green signal towards Rs.1.06cr.

➢ Sanctions given for Rs.91 lakhs to purchase 3500 numbers of stainless steel laddu carrying trays required in Tirumala and Tiruchanoor temples.

➢ Board approved to purchase medicines in TTD hospitals and given nod for Rs.3.67cr

OTHERS:

➢ To strengthen Srivari Seva Voluntary service in Tirumala, the board has approved to set up a separate cell. Proposals will be sent to the state government’s approval to create new posts. Professionals and NGOs will be involved in service activity

➢ The board has approved for Rs.12,200 and Rs.6,100 as Brahmotsava Bahumanam to each one of its regular and contract employees respectively. There are 9300 regular and 13000 contract employees in TTD.
